Welcome to Dukes Apparel.

These terms apply to your use of the Dukes Apparel website and to purchases made through our online store.

By placing an order with us, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully before placing an order.

Dukes Apparel reserves the right to update these terms from time to time. The terms that apply to your order will be the terms in place when your order is placed.

About Dukes Apparel

Dukes Apparel is an independent vintage clothing retailer specialising in carefully selected vintage and pre-owned menswear.

Our pieces are individually selected for their character, style, quality and individuality.

Because many of our items are vintage or pre-owned, some may show minor signs of previous wear or age. Where relevant, this will be reflected in the product description and photographs.

Products and descriptions

We make every effort to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, measurements and colours are as accurate as possible.

Vintage and pre-owned garments can vary in age, fabric, construction and condition. Measurements are provided to help you choose the best fit and should be checked against a similar garment you already own where possible.

Minor variations, signs of age or wear that are clearly described in the product listing are considered part of the character of vintage clothing.

If an item is materially different from its description, faulty, or the wrong item has been supplied, please contact us as soon as possible.

Your statutory consumer rights are not affected by these terms.

Availability

Many Dukes Apparel pieces are unique or available in very limited quantities.

Adding an item to your basket does not guarantee that it will remain available until checkout is completed.

If an item becomes unavailable after an order has been placed, we will contact you and arrange an appropriate resolution, including a refund where necessary.

Pricing

All prices displayed on our website are in pounds sterling (£).

We make every effort to ensure that prices are accurate. If we discover an obvious pricing error, we will contact you before processing the order.

Any applicable delivery charges will be shown before you complete your purchase.

Placing an order

When you place an order through our website, you are making an offer to purchase the selected goods.

You will receive an order confirmation by email after your order has been received.

We reserve the right to cancel an order where there is a genuine issue with product availability, pricing, payment or an obvious error in the product information. If we cancel an order after payment has been taken, you will receive a full refund.

Payment

Payment must be made using the payment methods available at checkout.

Orders will normally be processed once payment has been successfully authorised.

Delivery

We aim to dispatch orders as quickly as reasonably possible.

Delivery times and available delivery options will be displayed at checkout or in our Shipping Policy.

We will not be responsible for delays caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control, such as postal delays, extreme weather, strikes or other events affecting delivery services.

This does not affect your statutory rights.

Where no different delivery period has been agreed, UK consumer law generally requires goods to be delivered without undue delay and within 30 days.  

Returns and refunds

Nothing in these Terms of Service limits or removes your statutory consumer rights.

Faulty or incorrectly supplied items

If an item arrives faulty, damaged or is not as described, please contact us as soon as possible.

We will assess the issue and provide an appropriate remedy in accordance with applicable consumer law.

Intellectual property

All content on the Dukes Apparel website, including our branding, logo, photographs, written content, graphics and other original material, belongs to Dukes Apparel or is used with permission.

You may not reproduce, copy, distribute or commercially use our content without our prior written permission.

Website use

You agree to use the Dukes Apparel website lawfully and not to misuse the website, attempt to gain unauthorised access, interfere with its operation or use it for fraudulent purposes.

Limitation of liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful.

Nothing in these terms affects your statutory consumer rights, including rights relating to goods that are faulty, not as described or otherwise do not meet the requirements of applicable consumer law.  

Privacy

Personal information provided when using our website or placing an order is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws applicable in the United Kingdom.

If you are a consumer, nothing in these terms affects any mandatory rights or protections that apply to you under the law of the country in which you live.
